
ABOUT ME

My jOURNEY
Born and raised in Ostrava, Czech Republic, I discovered my passion for ballet and contemporary dance at the conservatory, where I dedicated years to mastering the art of movement. My love for dance led me to perform at renowned theaters in the Czech Republic and Germany, and I also enjoyed sharing my knowledge by teaching children and adults. I also worked closely with rhythmic and artistic gymnasts on their dance elements, including helping one prepare for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
However, dance didn’t just equip me with amazing skills; it also took a toll on my body. Years of intense training, often beyond my limits, led to numerous injuries, including a slipped disc, lower back and knee pain, a dislocated shoulder, and more. By the end of my career, I realized I couldn’t continue this way. Only through fitness was I able to heal, become stronger, and prevent future injuries.
During my years as a dancer, I experienced firsthand how much emphasis is placed on achieving the 'perfect' physical appearance. This pressure often led to unhealthy habits, particularly when it came to eating and body image. These experiences deeply shaped my perspective and ultimately inspired me to become a personal trainer and nutritional advisor.

This journey taught me the importance of balance—knowing when to push and when to rest, and how to listen to your body to understand its needs. This is a principle I deeply emphasize when training my clients.
My goal is to help others achieve a balanced, healthy lifestyle by combining everything I’ve learned from dance, fitness, and nutrition.
This philosophy led me to create VITFIT —a blend of my name, Vítek, and the word Fitness—a concept that represents the balance and purpose I strive to bring to every training program. Each letter represents a key aspect of my approach, which I outline below .

Fitness should prioritize health, but too often people overeat unhealthy food, rely heavily on supplements, or train in ways that harm their bodies. Every movement and exercise has a clear purpose. My training on intentional actions and mindful effort to ensure you achieve your goals effectively and sustainably.

Knowing when to push and when to rest is essential—not just during training but in all aspects of life. Timing means listening to your body and understanding when it’s ready to give its best and when it needs recovery. It’s about finding the right balance between effort and rest, ensuring sustainable progress while avoiding burnout or injury.

FUN
Something that can’t be missing from my sessions is humor. I believe that hard work and fun go hand in hand. For me, this reflects what dance has always been: hard work and fun. I bring this same energy into my training, so my clients not only work toward their goals but also enjoy the journey and leave each session feeling fulfilled and inspired.
